I am a hard-working and passionate animator with over ten years of studio experience. After seven years of 2D animation and illustration, I decided to retrain in 3D with the online school 'Animation Mentor'. Within 2 years of this shift towards 3D I was employed by Double Negative, London. Since being at Double Negative I have spent nearly 2 years working on the Pixar/Disney production 'John Carter' first in pre-production and then as a hero shot animator. I believe this fast progression demonstrates my potential within this field, and it is my hope to continue to grow and develop as a character animator. The work on my reel is currently over two years old. I will update my reel with the work I have done on 'John Carter' as soon as the movie receives it's official DVD release. But more recent work can be shown upon request. My successful transition to 3D animation combined with my track record in working on a wide range of animation productions in both 2D and 3D would make me a valuable asset to any animation team.
